Dai Min recently undertook book design work on behalf of the The Province of Hubei in her native country. The book which was illustrated and cover designed by her, is to be published as a public safety and information reference hand book for general sale in China.
This book was a commission undertaken by Dai Min for a client to create a reference book to help new and experienced gardeners get the best from their plots. The book was illustrated by Dai Min to depict plants commonly found in China.
These two books form part of a much larger project of book design of commissioned work undertaken by Dai Min on behalf of the Government of The Province of Hubei in China. The books record the history and heritage of cities in Hubei, one of China’s major provinces. Dai Min was responsible for the illustrations and covers.
Dai Min was asked to create a book cover to promote the export of Chileian wine in China. The book proved hugely popular, introducing new customers to the delights of wine from South America.
